2020 was a record year for Volkswagen. The car brand increased its market shares by 5.1 percentage points from 27.6 to 32.7 percent, which further strengthens Volkswagen’s market-leading position. Caddy and Transporter were the best-selling vans in 2020. The VW Caddy once again is the most popular van with a market share of 46.9%. The VW Transporter was in first place in its segment with a market share of 29.8%. VW Amarok managed to end the year as a clear market leader with 34% in its segment.
